The statue, measuring 2.5 meters, is set to be placed on Lower Bond Street, near her childhood home in Kirkby Mallory. The Ada Lovelace in Hinckley Community Interest Company has submitted a planning application for the statue, which will be located outside the Hinckley campus of the North Warwickshire and South Leicestershire College. The project aims to celebrate Lovelace's contributions to education and mathematics, and to provide Hinckley with a new cultural identity.
