Anieta Mae Chada, a beloved matriarch and community member, passed away at the age of 95 on August 1, 2025, at her home surrounded by family. Born on January 15, 1930, in Aurora, Illinois, Anieta was the daughter of Wayne and Louella Denney. She was known for her love of fishing, gardening, knitting, and spending time with her family, especially her great-grandchildren. Anieta was a devoted member of the Oswego Presbyterian Church, where she actively participated in worship and volunteer activities. She was married to her high school sweetheart, Dale John Schillinger, until his death in 1968, and later to Robert John Chada, with whom she shared 44 years until his passing in 2014. Anieta is survived by her daughters, grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. A visitation and funeral service will be held at Dieterle Memorial Home, followed by burial at Lincoln Memorial Park.
