What's Happening?
The Rosse Observatory, operated by the West Yorkshire Astronomical Society, is hosting regular open evenings for the public. These events offer attendees the opportunity to engage in stargazing through a large 14-inch aperture Schmidt-Cassegrain reflecting telescope. Regardless of weather conditions, the observatory provides presentations or informal discussions in a warm setting. The open evenings occur on the first Tuesday and the second and third Friday of each month, with no prior booking required.
