Rita Guttilla, a beloved wife, mother, sister, and grandmother, passed away peacefully at her home in Chicago on August 15, 2025. She was surrounded by her loving family during her final moments. Rita was married to her late husband, Nicholas Guttilla, for nearly 50 years. She is survived by her two sons, Peter and Christopher, her two granddaughters, Gracyn and Paige, and her sister Doloris Kirschbaum. Rita faced a six-month battle with cancer, demonstrating incredible courage and grace throughout. Her family remembers her for her strong will, business acumen, and devotion to her family. Rita also found joy in the companionship of her dogs, Lilly and Molly. A Memorial Mass is scheduled to be held at Queen of All Saints Basilica on August 22, 2025.
