is most likely that Vande Bharat Sleeper trains could start before Diwali. According to a PTI report which cited Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, Indian Railways is planning to launch two Vande Bharat Sleeper trains. One Vande Bharat Sleeper train is ready for launch at Shakur Basti Coaching Depot in Delhi after undergoing necessary trials and testing, according to PTI report which cited officials.

Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Start Date

On Tuesday (September 23), Ashwini Vaishnaw said that Vande Bharat Sleeper trains will be launched once the second train is ready for regular service.

Ashwini Vaishnaw said that the second Vande Bharat Sleeper train is being manufactured and will possibly be ready by October 15, 2025.

“Both the trains will be launched together,” a PTI report said while quoting the Railway Minister said.

Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Launch Delay

He added thar the second Vande Bharat sleeper train is important to maintain the continuity of regular services. “That’s why we are waiting for a second rake. Once we get it, we will decide any route and start operations,” he said.

Vande Bharat Sleeper Train Route Delhi To Patna

According to PTI report, speculation is rife that first Vande Bharat Sleeper train will be launched on New Delhi to Patna route. Notably, Bihar is slated to go to polls by the end of 2025.
