The 2023 Indonesian Health Survey reports a national hypertension prevalence of 30.8%, with Central Kalimantan showing the highest rate at 40.7%. Omron is focusing on health education and self-monitoring to prevent cardiovascular diseases related to hypertension. The company recently held educational events in Pontianak, including Campus Health Talks and a Partner Gathering, to promote the use of clinically validated blood pressure monitors. Omron introduced the Omron Complete, a device that measures blood pressure and performs ECGs, encouraging self-monitoring at home.
