The breach occurred between November 4, 2024, and January 6, 2025, during which hackers accessed Aspire's network. The BianLian ransomware group claimed responsibility for the attack, stating they had stolen various sensitive files, including financial and HR documents, databases, email communications, and personal health information of patients. The breach was confirmed following an investigation concluded in mid-July, and the Maine Attorney General’s Office has been notified of the incident.
