Eric Prydz has launched Holosphere 2.0, a revamped version of his groundbreaking show initially debuted at Tomorrowland 2019. The original Holosphere was a technological spectacle that suffered a setback when the stage roof collapsed, leading to its destruction. Prydz and his team have spent the last five years developing Holosphere 2.0, which premiered at UNVRS Ibiza. This new iteration features advanced LED technology, creating a 26-foot tall metal sphere that emits holograms and space-themed visuals. The show is part of a residency at UNVRS Ibiza, running every Monday through September 1, with plans for a larger tour. The team, including manager Michael Sershall and creative director Liam Tomaszewski, decided to innovate rather than replicate the original, utilizing cutting-edge LED panels to enhance visual resolution and transparency.
