What's Happening?
Arts of Life, a nonprofit organization supporting artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is celebrating its 25th anniversary with a special collaboration titled 'Art on the Mart: City Circle Life.' The event will feature projections of colorful and abstract images on the facade of Merchandise Mart in Chicago from September 11 to October 5, 2025. Originally planned for 2020, the event was postponed due to the pandemic. The projections will showcase the work of five artists and will be visible daily from 7:30 to 8 p.m. Arts of Life has been active throughout the year, hosting various events and exhibitions, including a book launch and participation in EXPO Chicago 2025.

The Art on the Mart projections will return in December, offering another chance for the public to engage with the artists' work. Arts of Life plans to maintain its efforts in promoting artistic expression and community engagement, ensuring that artists with disabilities have access to creative opportunities.
