What's Happening?
The University of Agriculture Swat has awarded scholarships to deserving students under various programs aimed at promoting inclusivity and academic excellence. The scholarships were distributed at a ceremony presided over by Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Dawood Jan. The university has established five endowment funds, including one dedicated to student scholarships, holding over Rs110 million. The scholarships cover full tuition and provide stipends, benefiting students from diverse backgrounds and regions. Programs include Diversity and Inclusion Scholarships, Climate Change and Mountain Agriculture Scholarships, Merit Scholarships, and Need-Based Scholarships, supporting students from less privileged backgrounds and those with disabilities.
