The expansion increases the licensed area from 900 hectares to 2500 hectares, facilitating a significant boost in production capacity. The project aims to increase monazite concentrate production from 15,300 tonnes per annum in stage one to up to 100,000 tonnes per annum in stage two. Lindian Resources has a right of first refusal agreement with Iluka Resources, which may fund 50% of the expansion costs, granting access to 25,000 tonnes of concentrate annually for 15 years.
