The UK automotive industry experienced a rise in electrified car production during the first half of 2025, despite an overall decline in vehicle manufacturing. However, overall vehicle production fell by 11.9% to 417,232 units, with car output declining by 7.3% and commercial vehicle production dropping by 45.4%.
