The District Employment and Counselling Centre (DECC) in Ramban, in collaboration with Government Polytechnic College, Chanderkote, organized a one-day entrepreneurship mela to promote self-employment. Beneficiaries of the Mission Yuva scheme received loan sanction letters to start businesses, such as kirana shops and boutiques.
