American Airlines is set to launch two new Landline bus routes connecting regional airports to Chicago O'Hare International Airport. Starting October 6, buses will operate four times daily between South Bend International Airport in Indiana and O'Hare. Additionally, from October 20, a five-times-weekly service will connect Chicago Rockford International Airport in Illinois to O'Hare. These routes are part of American Airlines' strategy to utilize motorcoaches for short-haul routes, similar to its operations at Philadelphia International Airport. The buses, operated by Landline, offer a luxury interior with amenities such as tray tables, in-seat power, and free WiFi. Passengers will benefit from secure-to-secure service, allowing them to check-in at the regional airport and be dropped off airside at O'Hare without needing to go through security again.
