The Nicor Illinois Community Investment (NICI) has awarded a $100,000 Impact Grant to the Southland Development Authority (SDA) in Tinley Park. Bo Kemp, CEO of the SDA, highlighted the importance of this partnership, noting that the fund aims to create a $100-million pool for real estate projects to attract private investments. The Monarch Fund is expected to spur up to $2 billion in private investments over the next decade, focusing on various types of developments including single-family homes, multifamily homes, commercial, retail, and industrial sites.
