Brian Glod has been appointed as the global head of aviation and space, while Tony Ambrose will serve as the global chairman of the same division. Both appointments are effective from September 1. Glod, based in New York, will join Marsh's global specialty executive committee and report to Andrew George, president of Marsh Specialty. Ambrose, based in London, will report to Dominic Samengo-Turner, CEO of Marsh Specialty, UK, and Glod. Additionally, Patton Kline has been named the regional aviation and space practice leader for the U.S., succeeding Glod. Kline will be based in New York City and will report to Michael Pellegrini, Marsh Specialty leader for the U.S. and Canada, and to Glod. These appointments are part of Marsh's strategy to strengthen its leadership in the aviation and space insurance sectors.
