This year, 653 applicants were considered, with selections based on academic achievement, leadership ability, and financial need. Among the recipients is Lucas Driskell, who will attend Murray State University to study sociology. The foundation has awarded over $15.7 million since 2001 to assist more than 1,700 children of Humana employees.
