Etihad Cargo, the logistics arm of Etihad Airways, is celebrating two years of successful operations at Ezhou Huahu Airport in China. Since August 2023, Etihad Cargo has expanded its presence at the airport, increasing its weekly freighter services from two to seven by 2025. This expansion reflects growing demand for high-tech and e-commerce trade between China and the Middle East. The collaboration with SF Airlines has enabled Etihad Cargo to operate 184 Boeing 777 freighter flights, while SF Airlines has conducted over 200 flights with Boeing 747 freighters. The airport, Asia's first dedicated freighter hub, has facilitated the movement of over 43,000 tonnes of export cargo and 690 tonnes of import cargo, reinforcing its role in global logistics.
