Manitoba Agriculture has announced the opening of applications for the Sustainable Agriculture Manitoba (SAM) BMP 4700: 2025 Special Intake, aimed at supporting livestock producers affected by prolonged dry conditions. The program, known as the Livestock Water Supply intake, assists producers in accessing or expanding water supplies. Applications are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until the allocated funding is exhausted. Eligibility criteria include managing agricultural land for production, owning or having permission to use the land for the project, possessing a Manitoba Premises Identification number, and having a valid Environmental Farm Plan Statement of Completion.
