Nuvau Minerals Inc. has commenced a follow-up drilling program at the Bracemac Footwall gold discovery in Matagami, Quebec. This initiative aims to test the continuity and extensions of the orogenic gold system discovered last month. The discovery was made during the inaugural gold-focused exploration program, located in the footwall of the Bracemac-McLeod Mine, approximately 200 meters below the surface. The Matagami Property, situated in the northern Abitibi Region, is one of the largest areas in the region that has not been subject to a gold-focused exploration program. Nuvau identified this opportunity upon acquiring the property from Glencore, focusing on gold-related historic data and launching several gold-focused initiatives. The current exploration program has identified three priority targets: the Bracemac Footwall Discovery, Gold-in-Till Anomaly Target, and Thunder Mine Target.
