The Secretary of Culture, Tourism, Archaeology, and Museums Department of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Dr. Abdul Samad, chaired a meeting to review the establishment of the proposed Boyun New Ski Resort in Boyun Valley, Kalam Swat. The meeting included key officials such as Muhammad Nawaz, Additional Secretary of Tourism, and Habib Ullah Arif, Director General of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Culture and Tourism Authority. Project consultants provided a detailed presentation remotely, outlining the plan to develop world-class skiing facilities and a modern winter resort. The project aims to utilize approximately 2,900 acres of land, with 1,400 acres designated for skiing slopes and 1,500 acres for hotels and recreational amenities. The government has committed to environmental preservation, ensuring no trees will be cut for the project.
