The Niger Delta Power Holding Company (NDPHC) is set to collaborate with the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN), Kano Branch, to provide direct power supply to manufacturers. This initiative is part of the Eligible Customer framework, which allows certain customers to procure electricity directly from power generation companies. Jennifer Adighije, Managing Director of NDPHC, expressed the company's commitment to supporting the manufacturing sector by enhancing industrial growth, job creation, and socio-economic development. The NDPHC has improved plant availability and is prepared to increase supply to meet demands once regulatory approvals are secured. The MAN delegation, led by Ali Madugu, Managing Director of Dala Foods, emphasized the need for reliable electricity to revive industries and sustain jobs in Kano State.
