Leading aerospace companies in Georgia have announced the formation of the Georgia Aerospace & Defense Alliance (GADA). This new organization aims to advance the state's aerospace and defense industries, which are the second-largest in Georgia, contributing over $57.5 billion annually and employing around 200,000 people. The alliance, launched by Gulfstream Aerospace, Lockheed Martin, Rolls-Royce, FlightSafety International, and Pratt & Whitney, will be housed at Mercer University in Macon.
