IHG Hotels & Resorts, in collaboration with Felix Capital, has announced plans for the Crowne Plaza Maroochydore, a new hotel development located on Ocean Street in Maroochydore, Australia. The hotel will feature 180 guest rooms and over 770 square meters of meeting and event space, including a 600-square-meter ballroom. Additional amenities will include a 30-meter pool, spa, wellness retreat, gym, sauna, and secure basement parking across two levels. The food and beverage facilities will comprise a 210-seat all-day restaurant, a 160-seat signature dining venue, an outdoor pool bar and lounge, and a lobby bar. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2026, with an anticipated opening in 2028.
