The District Employment and Counselling Centre (DECC) in Ramban, in collaboration with the Government Polytechnic College, Chanderkote, organized a one-day entrepreneurship mela aimed at promoting self-employment and entrepreneurship. The event, held at the Polytechnic College campus in Chanderkote, Ramban District, was part of the Mission Yuva scheme, which provides government support to individuals seeking to start their own businesses. Beneficiaries like Riyaz Ahmad and Naziya Jan expressed gratitude for the scheme, which enabled them to secure loans to start a kirana shop and a boutique, respectively. Deputy Commissioner Ramban Mohammad Alyas Khan emphasized the importance of the program in empowering the youth and reducing unemployment, encouraging participants to utilize the platform to become self-employed and employers.
