Pivot Bio, a leading agtech company, has announced a strategic partnership with the Soil and Water Outcomes Fund (SWOF) to promote sustainable agriculture in Indiana and Illinois. This collaboration will allow farmers to utilize Pivot Bio's gene-edited nitrogen-fixing technology, PROVEN® 40 and PROVEN® G3 corn products, while participating in SWOF's farmer-friendly programs. The partnership aims to connect Pivot Bio's solutions with SWOF's network of partners, including major food and agriculture companies, to achieve verified environmental outcomes in supply chains. By reducing synthetic fertilizer usage and incorporating biologically fixed nitrogen, participants can reduce greenhouse gas emissions and nitrogen runoff while maintaining or improving yield performance. Pivot Bio's sustainability program, N-OVATOR®, has already paid over $13 million to farmers for verified nitrogen replacement, with 1.4 million acres enrolled in 2024.
