Holcim UK has installed 208 solar panels at its Moorcroft site in Plymouth, Devon, as part of its ongoing renewable energy rollout. The panels, located on the rooftop of workshops at the limestone quarry, asphalt, and readymix plants, are expected to generate over 76,000 KWh of power annually. This initiative will cover two percent of the site's annual power needs and reduce CO2 emissions by 15.9 tonnes per year. The project is managed by Regenerco, with installation by Aniron, and aligns with Holcim UK's net zero strategy, aiming for zero emissions before 2050.
