YouTube has consistently led Nielsen's monthly rankings as the top TV distributor in the United States for six consecutive months. In July, YouTube accounted for 13.4% of all TV usage, marking a significant lead over Disney, which held 9.4%. This growth represents an increase from June, where YouTube had a 12.8% share compared to Disney's 10%. According to Nielsen's Media Distributor Gauge, YouTube and Netflix together made up more than a fifth of all TV viewing in July, surpassing both cable networks and broadcast. Streaming overall constituted 47.3% of TV viewing during this period. Other major distributors included NBCUniversal and Paramount, which held 7.6% and 7% of the market share, respectively.
