According to the hoax circular, the situation in various regions of the Middle East has calmed down; therefore, the authorities have decided to conduct the Class 12 English examinations today, March 12, 2026, after discussions with the concerned authorities. Students and parents are advised to avoid the notice as it's false and misleading. The viral notice states, \"The situation in parts of Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the UAE has now been restored. After reviewing the current scenario and consulting with the concerned authorities, the Board has decided to reschedule and conduct the Class XII English examination for students in the Middle East region.\" Students are advised to alert their acquaintances against the fake news and always check the official website instead of relying on unverified news. The fake circular is widely circulating on social media platforms like X (Twitter) and Instagram, asserting that the examination will be held as per its original schedule. Refuting these claims, CBSE has informed that it has not released any such notice, and the one making the rounds on social media platforms is completely false. Such notices are being pushed around a period when CBSE has been deferring and cancelling examinations in various parts of the Middle East (West Asia) due to the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel-US.
