The paramilitary Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in Iran on Monday said it had targeted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office and the headquarters of the Israeli air force commander.

office of the criminal prime minister of the Zionist regime and the headquarters of the regime’s air force commander were targeted,” the Guards said in a statement carried by Iran’s Fars news agency.

Iran International reported the IRGC saying that it had struck Netanyahu’s office with Kheibar missiles, shortly after launches were detected from Iran. However, there was no evidence that any of the missiles had reached Israel.

Israeli reports denied Iran’s claims that Netanyahu’s office was struck in the missile attack, calling them ‘false propaganda’. The Israeli Air Force and Israeli Navy have intercepted dozens of drones launched at Israel from Iran since the start of the conflict.

Tensions in West Asia escalated dramatically after the United States and Israel launched coordinated strikes on Iran, killing most of Tehran’s top leadership, including Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Iran suffered devastating losses, including the loss of senior commanders of its armed forces.

However, Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian said he has instructed ministers and heads of executive bodies to ensure government operations continue without disruption during the war. He said officials had been given sufficient authority and special plans to carry out their duties and support the public.

Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said the American military operations in Iran would continue for weeks and would not stop until Washington’s objectives were achieved. Likewise, Israel Foreign Minister Gideon Sa’ar said the country’s operation in Iran would continue without a fixed end date.

A total of 555 people have been killed across Iran in joint US-Israeli strikes that began on Saturday, the Iranian Red Crescent. Iran’s Ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) claimed that the Natanz nuclear facility — a central site in Tehran’s uranium enrichment programme — was among the Iranian nuclear installations affected by recent attacks.
