Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza entered his name in the history books on Thursday (February 26) by becoming the second cricketer in the world to score 3000 runs and also take 100 wickets in T20Is. Raza, who is leading

Zimbabwe in their ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 Super 8s match against India at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, needed 15 runs on Thursday to complete 3000 runs in T20Is, and he achieved the objective by hitting Axar Patel for a four on the fourth ball of the 14th over of Zimbabwe’s innings in the 257-run chase.

Raza was sent back to the pavilion by Arshdeep Singh in the 17th over of the run chase. He scored 31 runs from 21 balls during his stay at the crease and hammered 2 fours and 2 sixes.

Malaysian cricketer Virandeep Singh is the only other cricketer in the world who has 3000 runs and 100 wickets to his name in the 20-over format of the game. The 26-year-old cricketer has played 111 T20I matches so far for Malaysia, and in addition to scoring 3180 runs, has picked up 109 wickets.
