Singer-actor Jennifer Lopez recently opened up about one of the most painful chapters of her personal life, her divorce from Marc Anthony, during a candid moment at her Las Vegas residency.

While addressing the audience at her “Up All Night” residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, Lopez reflected on the emotional toll the end of their marriage took on her, calling it a “really tough time.” The couple were married from 2004 to 2014 and share twins Max and Emme.

Speaking to the crowd, Lopez admitted that the breakup pushed her to a breaking point.

She said, “After my third divorce, that’s when I really started getting good at it. Seriously, that’s not funny, it was actually a really tough time.”

The singer revealed that after the split, she felt overwhelmed while navigating life as a single mother to their young twins. At the time, Max and Emme were just three years old, making the transition particularly difficult.

\n “She said to me, ‘Jennifer, you’re a dancer, right?’” the artist recounted. “I said, ‘Yes, I am.’ And she said, ‘When you’re learning a dance, and you get the steps wrong, what do you do?’ I said, ‘I just keep going until I get the steps right.’ And she said, ‘That’s right, Jennifer. Always keep dancing',” she added.\n

The singer has been married four times, to Ojani Noa, Cris Judd, Marc Anthony, and most recently actor Ben Affleck, from whom she finalised her divorce in 2024.
