The overarching objective of this ambitious beautification project, spearheaded by the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), is to elevate Kala Ghoda into a vibrant cultural promenade, prioritizing pedestrian enjoyment and enhancing its unique heritage character. The precinct now offers dedicated areas for seating, encouraging leisurely strolls and social interaction, all within a revamped 3,433 square metre space designed to draw in visitors and art enthusiasts alike.

The implementation of hydraulic bollards at various entry points serves as a physical deterrent to unauthorized vehicle access, ensuring the integrity of the pedestrian-only policy.
