Tanhaji – The Unsung Warrior is set in the 17th century and revolves around Tanaji Malusare, a Subhedar in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s Maratha army, attempts to recapture the Kondhana fortress after Mughal emperor Aurangzeb takes control over it and passes the baton to his trusted guard Udaybhan Singh Rathore. The film won Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment, Best Actor (Devgn) and Best Costume Design at the 68th National Film Awards. Tanhaji released in theatres on January 10, 2020. \n
