Speaking at the jersey launch of the Rajasthan Royals ahead of the 19th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), this will be the second IPL season for the explosive left-hand batsman.

In the last season, Sooryavanshi had set the alarm bells ringing, smashing a six off his very first IPL ball against the experienced seamer Shardul Thakur (Lucknow Super Giants). Sooryavanshi later on went on to become the youngest centurion of the IPL when he smashed 101 off 38 balls against the Gujarat Titans.
