\nThe development was highlighted by the Divisional Railway Manager of Malda, who posted on X that the UTS app would be discontinued and passengers should shift to the new integrated platform. In his post, DRM Malda informed users about the transition and urged commuters to download the replacement app to avoid inconvenience.\n
\nThe UTS app has long enabled passengers to book unreserved tickets, season passes and platform tickets directly from their smartphones, eliminating the need to stand in queues at railway counters.
