\n All eight flights will depart from Fujairah. The airline will operate four flights to Delhi, three to Mumbai and one to Kochi to increase capacity for stranded passengers.\n

\n Flight schedules across West Asia have been disrupted after the United States and Israel carried out strikes on Iran, followed by missile and drone attacks by Iran in the region.\n

\n Airports in Delhi, Mumbai and Kochi have seen more passengers arriving from West Asia after Dubai and Fujairah partially reopened their airspace.\n\n

\n India is monitoring the airspace situation in parts of West Asia and its impact on international flights. So far, 1,221 flights by Indian carriers and 388 flights by foreign airlines have been cancelled due to the conflict.\n

\n On Tuesday, Indian carriers operated 24 flights, while Emirates and Etihad operated nine flights from the Gulf region.\n

\n “Indian carriers are further planning 58 flights on March 4, including 30 by IndiGo and 23 by Air India and Air India Express. Foreign carriers operating between India and the Gulf region are also undertaking limited operations, subject to operational and airspace considerations,” the Ministry of Civil Aviation said.\n\n

\n “Special arrangements are being made to facilitate the movement of stranded passengers, with airlines deploying additional capacity where required and coordinating closely with foreign aviation authorities and Indian missions abroad to ensure safe and orderly passenger movement,” the ministry added.\n
